Goal and Scope

The main goal of the Software in Mathematics Demonstration track is to provide a forum to discuss with a live presentation of any kinds of software program in Mathematics for research students and practitioners. The proposed software is not required to be user-friendly. We encourage submitting novel ideas and prototype programs in early stages.

Program

Friday 21st February 2020, 16:00 p.m. - 17:30 p.m.
Venue

    Kyushu University, Ito Campus, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka, JAPAN.

Demonstration Track
  • Demonstrations will be expected to give a poster presentation with an A1 poster or 4 to 6 printed A4 slides. There will also be a demonstration area with a screen and a projector for discussions and presentations. Demonstrators are expected to bring their own personal computers.

Submission

Submissions must be in English or Japanese and sent by email to lasm@imi.kyushu-u.ac.jp with following items (i), (ii) and (iii). The deadline is Friday 14 February 2020.

  1. Name, Affiliation, Email address
  2. Name of programs
  3. Abstract (about 200 words). Theory of Mathematics, program languages and development environments might be inserted.
